Phase 41 Frequently Asked Questions
Q-Where do I submit how much funding my agency is requesting?
A-You do not need to make a specific funding request. Awards per agency will be determined based on the number of eligible agencies and the program capacity of each applicant.
Q-My agency applied and was award for Phase 40, do we need to apply again?
A-No. If your agency applied for Phase 40 and received an award you are automatically eligible for Phase 41 and DO NOT NEED TO APPLY AGAIN. Please only submit a phase 41 application if you are not participating in phase 40, were denied in phase 40, or are applying for a new program. If your agency is participating in Phase 40 and does not want to be included in Phase 41 please contact EFSP41@CCDSD.ORG.
Q-Can my agency apply as a sub-recipient of a larger agency, like one of the food banks?
A-During phase 41, all applying agencies will be a sub-recipient of Catholic Charities, who has been selected by the local board to serve as the jurisdiction's single Local Recipient Organization (LRO). Each agency interested in participating in Phase 41 EFSP needs to complete their own Request for Proposal (RFP).
Q-When will I be notified if my agency has been selected to receive funds?
A- Your agency will receive notification of eligibility by June 30, 2023.
